It has been brought to our attention that there is a scam going around where you will receive a message in your inbox telling you that you are the winner of one of our promos and that to claim your reward, we need you to confirm your character name and account name and for you to confirm with your password.
This is a scam and you should NOT respond. Doing so will result in your account being compromised.
Please be aware of the following if you are the winner of any of our promotions.
.No Aeria Games staff member will ever ask you for your password under any circumstances.
.We already know your account name and can find out your character. Also, we NEVER need your password to confirm anything, DO NOT give your password to anyone, EVER.
.All winners for any promos will be posted in the appropriate forum and THE PLAYER must Contact Us by RT to redeem their prize.
.Should there ever be a promo where we will contact you to notify you, we will contact you using the RT system not a forum PM.
Please report any messages of this sort that you receive to the GM staff immediately by Contacting Us by RT so that we can stop malicious players like this from ruining your day and please remain alert.
